Wow! You are in for an epic challenge! The infamous National 3 Peaks Challenge will see you attempt to climb the highest mountain in each respective country that makes up Great Britain!
Commencing in Scotland you will rise to the highest point in the entirety of the UK and Summit Ben Nevis (1,345 m or 4,413 ft)! We will head south to the beautiful Lake District National Park, to take on Scafell Peak (978 m or 3,209 ft), the highest mountain in England. Before finally heading to Snowdonia National Park in Wales and summit Snowdon (1,085 m or 3,560 ft), the highest point in Wales! WOW!
In total you will have hiking over 42 kilometres and climbed a total ascent of 9,800 feet (3,000 m)!
Practicalities
Risk Management and Safety
Live Well Adventures has solid foundations when planning for potential risk. Our founder has over 18 years worth of experience in the British Army that is utilised and subsequently enables us to conduct high risk activities on a more routine basis. Experience and training for Live Well Adventures staff facilitates appropriate action to be taken under potentially dangerous and stressful conditions. Along with experience we implement detailed risk assessments recognised by industry that enable us to identify risks and plan to both mitigate them as well as minimise the impact should the need arise.

Training
Our experienced outdoors instructors, personal trainers, nutritionists and expedition leaders can make sure you are well prepared for your National 3 Peaks Challenge! We can also provide you with bespoke Fitness and/ or Nutritional Programs to help you prepare for your Adventure Challenge - see our Fitness and Nutrition page for more details. Additional costs apply.
Qualified Outdoors Instructors and First Aid
Our Live Well Adventures staff are appropriately qualified to lead you throughout your National 3 Peaks Challenge, and provide you with the level of assurance you want and need. As trained and experienced Outdoors Instructors they are capable of addressing and dealing with multiple situations that may arise - in addition we will provide first aid qualified staff for your National Three Peaks Challenge.
Accommodation
Included as part of your National 3 Peaks Challenge is one nights accommodation in Fort William the evening prior to commencing your hike. Having suitable accommodation for the night prior to commencing your hike can make or break the event. Let our experts help you choose the right place to rest your head for the night.

Once you have booked a National 3 Peaks Challenge event with us, we will send you a detailed kit list explaining exactly what kit we recommend you bring. However, please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss any kit requirements prior to making a booking.
